The Lost Civilizations of North America

This site is for the DVD on lost civilizations in America's. Wayne May along with Alice Beck Kehoe, PhD in Antropology,Harvard University and Roger G. KennedyJD Director Emeritus, National Museum of American History Smithsonian Institution and others, support and speak on this matter in the dvd presentation.

This DVD explores the fascinating world of ancient North America, and why the artifacts and evidences of advanced civilization have been lost and largely ignored. Archaeologists, historians and anthropologists discuss the development of theories of cultural evolution and how these theories influenced the doctrine of Manifest Destiny and Native American policies and encouraged the "wanton destruction" of many great ancient structures and earthworks and the hiding away and discrediting of artifacts found within them. Anthropologists and DNA researchers explore the orgions of these people through their amazing structures, written language and other artifacts.

Lost Civilizations is an engaging film that answers why we haven't heard about the great civilizations that existed on the North American continent and why theories about their origins have passed out of place and time.

"Monk's Mound in Cahokia,...is bigger in its footprint than the Great Pyramid of Giza. There were more people in Cahokia, we now know than there were in London or Rome." Roger G. Kennedy, JD Director Emeritus, National Museum of American History Smithsonian Institution.

"The idea that American First Nations had never achieved anything worth preserving, has resulted in wanton destruction...So we have lost incalculable amount of archaeological data because of no appreciation of their value for historical purposes." Alice Beck Kehoe, PhD in Antropology, Harvard University.

We should learn the answers, see the proof, and discover the Lost Civilizations of the Native American's.
