Interview With Mormon Apologist Rodney Meldrum (June 20,2011)

Aaron interviews Rodney Meldrum in Manit Utah.


This is a good fair and civil interview, as Aaron is not a member of 'The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day saints' LDS or (Mormon-nicknamed) However he does have some good questions for Rodney about his controversial 'Heart Land Model for the Book of Mormon Physical lands'. Rodney believes as do many that if the Stories of the Book of Mormon are true, then there will be physical evidences related to their existence Archaeology as well as DNA remnants of these peoples. His links are on this blog with his many explanations and more new ones coming as well, Rodney feels one must follow the directions the facts take you, even if it is outside the realms of accepted data, or theory, and his findings are just that.

Keep in mind Aaron personally finds faults in the traditions & beliefs of theology of the LDS faith, most I have meet who feel this way, or a need to witness to fellow Christians (Followers of Christs Teachings) is interesting. As they feel one must accept Christ, to be born again to be saved in Christs kingdom, most active LDS do practice Christianity in their lives and have done this, so LDS do accept Christ. Although we tend to disagree on some doctrine points of other Christians but that is normal, few Christian church's around the world see eye to eye on everything, yet LDS feel everyone has the right, freedom to choose what form of Christianity ones wants to follow.
This is not a Religion / theology site, so I leave that up to those that have set up such for that purpose, the Truth of the LDS beliefs can be found at the links, and some of the testimony, videos at the bottom of the blog area.
I find if one wants to learn about a topic, you visit those of it, As if you wish to learn drywall finishing you don't ask the carpet layer, you ask a master drywall finisher. Like anything if you want to learn a topic seek out those who know it best, not demean it. So search with care.

The evidences of historical nature we have found over the years, the myths, legends, archaeology, dna all speak of the time frame found in the Book of Mormon being almost exact with that of the Hopewell groups of N. America. Such is this site to testify of that, as well as the evidences that Jesus Christ is God, and loves all equally and did visit many nations all over the world, as evidenced by the stories now available on this blog, and those coming in the future.

Seek truth, learn knowledge, on theology one should study, the pray long about it and let God lead you to where your path shall be. We all walk different paths, different speeds along that path, but remember all Good, all things that teach love and light are of God, as the life of Jesus Christ shows us, and as he has told us.

Has Lehi’s ocean voyage now been discovered and substantiated?
Once you see this presentation you’ll be asking, “Why isn’t this front page news!” For the first time since the coming forth of the Book of Mormon there is direct, incontrovertible evidence supporting the Book of Mormon’s claim of a voyage from the Saudi Arabian peninsula to the Americas.  A recently completed oceanic expedition in a 600 B.C. wooden sailing ship has provided astounding new understandings for Lehi’s voyage to the Americas.  It was patterned after remnants of ancient Phoenician ships, known to have made the first circumnavigations of Africa in the same era as Lehi’s voyage. Could there be any correlations?

Was it caused by a volcanic eruption as has been speculated by some Book of Mormon geography scholars, or is there another explanation?  Amazing new research has uncovered incredible parallels between the eye-witness accounts of the Book of Mormon prophets and the eye-witness observations of those who suffered through a sequence of earthquakes in the heartland of America in 1811 and 1812. Together we will compare the scriptural account with the History Channels Earthquake in the Heartland documentary and authoritative accounts by those who were there!  It is nothing short of amazing.

• What textual evidence exists that the destruction was volcanic in nature?
• How was the destruction described by the ancient prophets?
