"The Lost Faun"
A very heart warming story is told by the old ones of the Cherokee (Aniyun wiya )Nation. Once during ancient times when the Healer walked amongst our peoples he went for a walk in the forest for quiet and peace as his mind was deeply troubled by the thoughts and visions of the future of his friends. As he walked he came upon a faun in a pool of moon light, the color was a blue and silver hues, its legs were weak, for it was hungry and it could not find its mother.
The Healer spoke to it "Silver-flecked babe of the forest, where is thy mother? Which path did she take when she left thee?" The forest child looked at Him sadly, then turned toward a dim path. Unhesitatingly the Great Man followed. Not far away they came to a bower, and there among the leaves lay the mother. She had been clawed unmercifully by the lion; but in leading away the huge cat, she had saved the forest infant. The Healer knelt, gently stroked her torn and bleeding body until at last she stood erect beside Him. His disciples, who had been following Him at a distance so that no harm would come to Him, saw the miracle happen. They stopped and stared with eyes unbelieving as the doe nuzzled her faun.
"Art thou not afraid," His disciples said to Him, "that using thy power on the animal kingdom, someday it shall all be gone when most you desire it?"
"Nay," Smiled the Pale One. "There cannot be too many good deeds. Such is the manner of compassion. A lost lamb is my Father's business, as important as saving a nation, if one need not choose between them. More precious in my Father's eyes is a good deed than the most exquisite jewel."
His disciples knelt to touch His white robe, where the dark crosses stood out in the moonlight.

The Prophet First Sees The Future
It was during this rite of dedication of the Pyramid Temple in the place now called Etowa, Georgia, that the prophet first mentioned the future. Standing high above the people, and staring off to the horizon, after His dedication speech had been finished, once more He started speaking: "Afar off through time my spirit is walking down the cycles of the future. I see the armies of the Serpents moving northward from their cities, being driven out by bloody warfare. These ancient worshippers of the Fire have returned to the ways of their fathers and once more are sacrificing to idols. They are coming up the river, the Serpents led by the Turtle. The Paun people will move northward and an uneasy peace shall for some time follow, but a civil war will break out among them. Now if you could only convert these people once more to the Peace religion of the One God, and also those who are coming down from the northward along the Sunset Ocean, then what follows might be different. But I fear that you cannot. Civil war becomes anarchy and each city takes to the forest, joining in tribes for senseless war far, Remember this and tell your children, Woe follows this unhappy decision. Farther off there is another invasion. In ships many bearded men are coming for across the Sunrise Ocean. Many are the ships as the snowflakes of winter. I see these men taking the Broad Land; and the Mounds which hold the crests of our cities are for them, alas!, but earth for the taking, They do not respect our trees of cedar. They are but hungry, unenlightened children, and with them the vision closes. Would that I could reach those war-hungry Serpents! Would that I could speak to those bearded farmers! I have tried. They do not hear me. They go on their way like spoiled children, while I return to you and the present here at the Temple at E-See-Co-Wah!"
Many southern tribes now in Oklahoma, with the mingled heritage of both Paun and Serpent, still remember this prediction first spoken at the Temple in Georgia so long ago in times long vanished, Choctah,Cherokee,Chickasaw and Creek - do your children still remember ?Or have the old chants been forgotten as they have among so many others?
There are many stories such in T.Hansen's book, what I find in my own research over the last 28 years is the correlation of other such stories amongst the peoples of the world in both written and verbal history.

He Walked The America's by Taylor Hansen
This is a book that took years to compile and discover its stories now shared with the world of the stories of the Ancients who's legends live still amongst the many First Nation / American Natives / Pacific Islanders as well. One of the legends shared by all of these is of the Great Healer, Teacher who came and taught them It is a very interesting book to explore.
These are the legends of The Healer. This is the drama of Mahnt-Azoma, or Tl-Acoma,The Mighty, sometimes called Kate-Zahl, The Prophet The Lord-Of-Wind-And-Water, Tah-co-mah, Pacha-ca-mac, Wakea, Chee-Zoos, the Dawn God,God of the Dawn Light, Paruxti,Son of Tirawa.
We pass through many climates changed by the passage of two millenia; through mines long buried under a forest cover; through valleys once fertile and rich in commerce which have lng returned to barren desert; down highways now covered by the strangling jungles or lost in the silt of other ages; through cities whose legendary beauty is still whispered by the story tellers of a hundred nations and more.
One of the most curious stories is that of a saintly white teacher whose hands performed many miracles of healing and whose strange eyes of grey-green-blue as the ocean who taught of peace, love, and the words he was to teach them that his Father in Heaven sent him to do.
From the South American lands, Central America & today's Mexico, North America and through the legends of the pacific Islanders we find our travels as Taylor discovered these stories; even though they cross many nations, tongues, and times there is one single thread that remains the same the description all give of the Healer the White Prophet who came and visited long ago.
This collection of stories gathered by Taylor Hansen are priceless and owning this book is a step in understanding the Ancient and modern legends and myths about this Ancient Healer.
